Paper GUIDELINES

DEADLINE SCHEDULE

15 March 2021:
You must send the 1st version of your paper (with all the components listed below) to Docomomo2020+1 secretariat and complete REGISTRATION with FULL PAYMENT for the Conference. Only the authors and co-authors that completed their registration and payment for the Conference before this date will have their papers published.

5 April 2021:
By this date, you will receive your final draft of the paper from your Session
Chair with comments that is to be submitted as the final version of the paper.

20 May 2021:
You must send the final version of your paper (with all the components listed below), to your Session Chair, with a copy to Docomomo International (docomomo@tecnico.ulisboa.pt) and to Docomomo 2020 (info@docomomo2020.com).

Required components for the documents to submit before 15 March 2021:

1.
Full paper (.docx), written in accordance with the guidelines which are available for download here (Full paper template), including:
-Abstract (250 words).
-Paper (3000 words, including endnotes, image captions and bibliography).
-Biography of each author (max 100 words each).
-Captions of each image and/or illustration. Credits for each image and/or illustration: all should be free of copyrights.
2.
A personal photo (headshot). Separate File
3.
Submission of up to 4 reference images and/or illustrations: 300 dpi (.tiff). Separate File

Signed “Consent to Publish for Conference Proceedings”, which is available for download here (Separate File)Copyright agreement

If the author does not fulfill these schedule and guidelines, DOCOMOMO International and DOCOMOMO 2020+1 reserve the right to withdraw his/her paper from the programme and the Proceedings.

Each speaker is expected to secure this/her own support to cover the cost of registration, travel, and accommodation.

We are planning to publish both paper and posters presentations in the conference proceedings book in 2021.
